We speak Desktop Publishing at Braden Printing, with efficient Mac and PC workstations for design, type and imageset film output.

Traditional Pre-Press

Although most jobs are now processed digitally, the graphics camera is still available when needed. This camera is a DS Screen 20" x 24" with a range of 20 to 500%. Film is processed in a LogE 26" automatic processor.

Pre-press equipment includes three precision stripping tables, two plate makers, and a plate processor.

MAN Roland 202 Press

Our 20" x 29" MAN Roland press is ideal for high volume one and two color printing such as brochures, newsletters, manuals and instruction sheets. With its quick make-ready, it is also a very competitive short run 4 to 6 color press.

Ryobi 3302 Press

High quality two-color printing in a small format.

This press prints sheets up to 13" x 17 3/4" producing 11" x 17" with full coverage and full bleed. It has a separate tower and blanket for each color, each with three ink form rollers for maximum ink coverage. Precision registration makes it the ideal press for short run three and four color work.

Hamada VS34 Press

Our Hamada VS34 is a high quality direct feed two-color press, with impressive coverage, ease of set-up and great versatility. Like the Ryobi, it can print 11" x 17" with bleed, handle trapping with ease, and handle a wide variety of papers, cards and envelopes.

Hamada 662 Press

This two-color quick set-up press, equipped with Crestline dampening systems for precision control of ink/water balance. prints a variety of stationery, brochures, forms and envelopes. Maximum sheet size is 11.5" x 17.25", with a maximum image of 11.25" x 16.75".

Paper

We receive paper deliveries daily to fill your orders promptly.

Our Challenge cutters are computer programmable so that each lift can be cut to the same exacting standards.

Ink

We stock hundreds of popular Pantone Ink Colors. For colors not in stock, we mix the recipe precisely, using a laboratory balance.

Folding

Many jobs are folded including direct mail, newsletters, brochures and instruction sheets.

MBO B20 44x

Collating / Saddlestitching

The Duplo 30 Bin Collator and Bookletmaker features air blast / vacuum pick up for scuff-free handling of all stocks, even gloss covers with large solid coverage of ink.

The unit is fully programmable for quick set up and running of a wide variety of booklets at speeds up to 2000 per hour.
