Here are the highlights of the equipment that we have ready to work for you as of June 2003:

PRESS ROOM

MAN-Roland 202

 High quality 20 x 29" two-color press designed for quick set-up and fast running speeds on one to four color jobs.

Ryobi 3302

 Precision small format two-color press, 13 x 17.5", for quality short run printing. Three form rollers per tower. Royce water system.

Hamada VS34

 Precision small format two-color press, 13 x 17.5", for quality short run printing. Quick set-up direct feed press.

Hamada 662

 11 x 17" two-color press for short run work and high quality two color stationery and brochures.

Hamada 611

 11 x 17" one-color press for quick set-up one color work.

DIGITAL COPIERS

Konica 8031

 Digital color copier, with Fiery PostScript 3 RIP. Fast 31 copies per minute. In-line saddle-stitching option.

Konica 7085

 High speed B&W copier. Digital PostScript 3 RIP with many job building features. 85 copies per minute; also has in-line saddle-stitch option.

BINDERY

(2) Challenge 305 Cutters with MicroCut Computer

 30.5" hydraulic cutter with programmable motorized back gauge to speed cutting on long jobs.

MBO 44x Folder

 Pile feed folder with four fold plates each in both parallel and right angle sections, and knife folder for sixteen page folds and gatefolds. Handles sheets up to 20" wide. In-line scoring and perforating.

Baum 520 4/4 Folder

 Pile feed folder with four fold plates in both the parallel and right angle sections. Handles sheets up to 20" wide.

Baum 714 Air Feed Folder

 Air feed two plate folder for quick set-up jobs.

Rosback 220A

 Air feed scoring and perforating.

Duplo DC-10000S Collator/DBM 200 Saddlebinder

 Three 10 bin air-feed towers for collating up to 30 sheets. Saddlebinder stitches, folds and face trims booklets up to 96 pages. Can flat collate, corner staple, side staple or saddlestitch/trim.

Challenge EH-3A

 Three hole paper drill.

(2) Acme 3A 1 1/8" Stitchers

 Flat stitch books up to 1 1/8" thick.

Bostich 2A

 Flat or saddlestitch.

APF Shrink Wrap

 Shrink wraps up to 11 x 17 x 2".

Misc. Bindery

 Hydraulic paper drill, padding racks, round cornering machine and electric stapler round out our bindery capabilities.

GMC 3500 Delivery Van

 Speeds deliveries and proofs to our customers on a daily route, accompanied by courteous driver.

 2700 dpi 10 bit per color scanning from 35mm slides and negatives.

X-Rite DP-41

 Precision Spectrophotometer for measuring proofs and printed sheets to generate accurate shopwide ICC profiles.

Proofing and Film Output

Agfa Accuset 1000

 Film imagesetter, 1200 – 3000 dpi, 65 – 200 line screens. Media 12" or 14" wide film. Driven by Taipan 3.1 RIP with PostScript level 3 and In-RIP trapping.

Epson 5000

 720 x 1440 dpi precision color inkjet, PostScript level 3. Prints from 8.5 x 11" to 13 x 19" on photo quality glossy paper. With Adobe Press Ready software, provides color accurate pre-proofs.

Xanté AW1200 & Xanté Accel-a-writer 8200

 1200 dpi laser printers. Prints from 8.5 x 11" to 11.75 x 19".

PRE-PRESS

DS Screen 660B 20 x 24 Vertical Camera with densitometer

 Produces high quality line negatives and reverses. Range is 20 to 500% of original size. Line negatives up to 20 x 24".

LogE Excel 26" Film Processor

 Handles line film, imageset film and dupes.

(2) Precision 30 x 40" Bi-Axis Light Tables

 Precision stripping tables.

Nuarc 24 x 32" Stripping Table

 Auxiliary table for quick print jobs.

Douthitt 30 x 40" Option-X Platemaker, with Olite AL23 5KW Lightsource

 Precision exposure unit for plates and color proofs.

 Fast exposure of plates and proofs. Quartz light for film dupes and spreads and contact prints.
